One member belongs to the local council. The commission constitutes itself. It meets at least once a year. The commission submits applications to the municipal council for contributions from the cultural fund. The commission decides on withdrawals up to an annual amount of CHF 10,000.00, in individual cases up to CHF 3,000.00. 5 institutions that continuously fulfill an essential function for the basic cultural and social provision of the village community are eligible for recurring contributions. The ordinary community contributions to the associations are not financed by the culture fund. 6 One-off contributions are grants to cultural or scientific events or projects that are related to Buchs (village, people, landscape, history) or that contribute to the promotion of social and cultural exchange between the three villages of the Dagmersellen community.
