The purpose of the foundation is a) to support the restoration of old buildings and village centers that are worthy of preservation and other cultural monuments at home and abroad, in particular by making contributions and awarding prizes; b) the support of cultural works through contributions or award ceremonies at home and abroad; c) the support of needy and sick children in Germany and abroad, in particular orphans, by making contributions to their maintenance or hospital and healing costs; d) the support of scientific projects in Germany and abroad that serve charitable purposes (in particular research and development projects in the medical and social fields) as well as the promotion of young scientists on such projects.
